APA Reference List: Books - Multivolume Work

When you refer to several volumes in a work of more than one volume, give the number of volumes after the title. The date should include the range of years of publication, wherever appropriate.
  Example    Barr, A., & Feigenbaum, E. A. (1981-1986).
The handbook of artificial intelligence (Vols. 1-4).
Reading, MA.: Addison-Wesley.
