One goal of this text is to help you get better at understanding how the economy affects your daily life and the world at large. One of the ways you can apply your new knowledge almost immediately is by reading the business pages of your local newspaper, or national papers and journals such as the Wall Street Journal or Business Week. You don't need to look too far to find economics in the news -- in fact, economics tends to dominate or at least play a large part in many news stories outside the business sections. In this article archive we will bring you some of those stories as well as stories that were meant for business audience. We'll ask you some guiding questions to help focus your reading and give you a few hints about the types of economic concepts addressed.
