Curious Facts: Attendance at school is compulsory for children ages 5 to 18 in Oklahoma, the longest education commitment of any state in the nation.On April 19, 1995, the Alfred P Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was bombed killing 168 people. It was the deadliest domestic terrorist attack in the history of the United States and was the deadliest act of terrorism within U.S. borders until September 11, 2001.
