The State Bar of Texas does maintain a list of no-cost and low-cost legal services across the state at www.texasbar.com/members/getinvolved/getinvolved.asp. In a further effort to address the problem of providing legal services for the poor, the Texas Supreme Court created the Texas Access to Justice Commission to coordinate and increase delivery of legal assistance to poor Texans.
