Chapter 18: Environmental Policy

Links open in new window.

Check out the EPA's official web site at http://www.epa.gov/, or the Department of Interior's web site. These two sites have many great links. Then try a state environmental agency's site, such as Oregon's Department of Environmental Quality.

Ohio's Department of Natural Resources is also very useful.

Another site to look at is one created by Alaska's Department of Environmental Conservation that, at one point, was selling authentic oil samples from the Exxon Valdez spill.

The web pages of environmental organizations such as the Sierra Club, the National Wildlife Federation, and the Nature Conservancy provide a wealth of information about the environment and natural resources.
