Using engaging, full-color graphics and animations, Computer Tutor 1.0 offers motivating, interactive assistance and practice for math students. Customized to correspond chapter-by-chapter with the Houghton Mifflin math texts listed below, the program helps students reinforce skills they have not yet mastered, make up classes they may have missed, or review material for exams.

• Chapter modules are divided into two sections: Study this Lesson and Problem Solving.
• Problems are algorithmically generated to ensure an appropriate variety and range of exercises. Each exercise includes specific page references to the text.
• Students follow animated solution steps, which help them catch and understand mistakes before they are made.
• Students have access to complete solutions for each exercise attempted, and may request progress reports to assess their understanding.
• Extensive problem-solving hints and an online glossary provide additional support.

Classroom Management System

This time-saving, password protected utility enables instructors or administrators to track and assess student progress and capture important classroom data through a number of detailed reports.

• Individual student performance
