Excel Guide

The use of technology is an integral part of your study using Calculus Concepts. Even thoughthe text requires technology, it does not demand any particular technology. In fact, each type oftechnology has its strengths and weaknesses. In some situations, the use of a graphing calculator willbe more efficient in calculating the desired result while in others the use of Excel will bring you morequickly to the solution. The Excel Guide features a new technology technique or an effective way to use Excel. Examples are often drawn from those in the textbook, though some examples are unique to the guide.
