Chapter Two Exercise: Ways to Change a Habit
Complete the following exercise and choose either to print out your responses for submission or to email them to your instructor.

  1. Spend a few moments thinking about the habits that you have developed or more effective habits that you would like to develop. These can be related to your school work or your personal life, or both. In the space below describe the behavior and why you want to change it.



  2. Think about the suggestions in the article "Ways to change a habit" and consider the options that would work best for you. How would you use these suggestions to change your behavior to be more effective. In the space below, write how you could develop this behavior. Think about what would be involved in changing your habits, what would be difficult, and how your life would be different afterwards.
