C. As the Reformation proceeded the major reformers and/or reformist movements developed significant doctrinal differences. Below is a list of the major Protestant reformers, followed by a list of their theological principles. Using the menus, match each of these principles with the appropriate name. Some names may have more than one corresponding principle.

1. denied doctrine of transubstantiation and reformulated communion service into a commemoration of the last supper


2. salvation comes solely through personal piety and faith


3. ordinary people, even the illiterate, may perceive their own salvation through inner light


4. emphasized predestination as the basis of salvation


5. newly enlightened Christian must be rebaptized, negating first baptism into established church
