Web Design Activities Chapter 4: Revising
- Create a design revision agenda for a noncommercial, informational website. You could use your school's site or the website of a political campaign, a nonprofit group, or a political action committee, for example. "Read to revise" the website's design (colors, layout, use of graphics, etc.), and create a revision agenda—focused on the design elements—based on your analysis of the site's effectiveness for its subject, audience, and purpose (see pages 81-84 of your textbook).
- Describe how you could design a website to achieve the same purpose as Andy Rooney's essay "New Products." How could you use the visual and hypertext capabilities of a website to illustrate Rooney's point about putting old products in "new and improved" packaging?
