Council on the Education of the Deaf
Curriculum information on math, reading, language, history, and science as well as resources for teaching and suggestions for instructional materials are available here. You might enjoy the "Dizzy Bees" learning center, an auditory training center for children who have already developed word recognition skills.

Deaf Resource Library
An online collection of reference material and links intended to educate and inform people about deaf cultures in Japan and the United States. Also addresses topics related to people who are hard of hearing.

Gallaudet University Technology Access Program
This site, sponsored by a research group at Gallaudet University, provides up-to-date, comprehensive information on the latest trends in technology for people with hearing disabilities.

The Listen-Up Web!
A great website for educators and parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. The site provides information for parents about fun places to visit and a list of useful books and publishers. Also available are many tips on everything from early intervention to support groups for parents, as well as the latest information on national legal issues.

National Association of the Deaf
Lots of vibrant colors, video clips, and visual stimulation introduce you to this site with a focus on policy issues, advocacy, conferences for parents and professionals, and employment resources.

Software to Go
Sponsored by the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center, this website is a clearinghouse for software evaluation information. It has a searchable index that you can use to look for material by grade level, subject area, and instructional mode.
