Types of Comprehension:Readers employ different types of comprehension to fully understand what they read. Literal comprehension involves understanding ideas that are directly stated, whereas higher order comprehension involves interpretive, critical, and creative skills.

Effective Questioning: Teachers use questions to set purposes, to guide discussions, and to test knowledge. They need to know how to prepare questions that are clear and unambiguous and that ask what they want to ask.
