Sentence Writing with Adjectives

Complete the following directions. Write your sentences in the text boxes. After you complete the exercise, email your work to your instructor or print the page the page to give to your instructor.

1. Write five sentences that have at least one adjective in the adjective pattern 1 position. The adjective will appear before the noun it modifies. At the end of the sentence, write the adjective inside parentheses. Example: The wet dog shook water all over the room. (wet)




2. Write five sentences that have at least one adjective in the adjective pattern 2 position. The adjective will appear with a linking verb and will describe the subject. At the end of the sentence, write the adjective inside parentheses. Example: The parrot is very talkative. (talkative)
