2. The loan officer approved my loan. He understood my situation.

5. I have learned to be cautious and alert. I live in a big city.




6. I did not answer him. I was pretending to be asleep.




7. Several people visited the homeless shelters. They were working as census takers.




8. Tim stumbled to find the right words. He wanted to apologize for his actions.
