ReadingSpace Demo Site

A landmark product, ReadingSpace actively connects the printed page to the web page. The site features 65 readings written by Carol Kanar or selected from popular magazines, poems, and Houghton Mifflin textbooks. Students read short passages before completing Pre-, Practice, or Mastery tests. Each test consists of multiple-choice questions and conclude with an essay question. Students receive their scores upon test completion. These self-assessment tests cover 10 essential reading skills, enabling students to identify their weaknesses and focus on improving their reading comprehension. Highly versatile, ReadingSpace allows students to repeat tests and email their results to instructors. A User's Guide will be available to adopters of ReadingSpace.
