A GOOD WAY TO FAMILIARIZE yourself with the tools and topics of scientific inquiry is to browse scientific journals and magazines. Some publications such as Science are aimed at professionals in the field. Others such as Popular Science and Scientific American are written for the general public. Do an online search of scientific publications and look for one or more articles on topics that appeal to you.

Science Online provides coverage of the latest news in science. The web site includes additional features not included in the print magazine.
