Apply what you have learned about the way learning environment affects your classroom performance. Discuss the following questions and record your answers. When you have finished, evaluate your performance.

  1. Discuss the similarities and difference in the learning environments of the courses you are taking this term. What conclusions can you draw about the kinds of learning environments available at your college.
  2. Discuss your group's learning environment preferences. In what type of learning situation does each group member feel most comfortable, and why?
  3. Consider your performance in each of your classes so far. Is there a relationship between learning environment and grade? Explain the relationship.
  4. Although you can't change the learning environment, what can you do to adopt to it and improve your performance?

Evaluate your discussion. Did everyone contribute? Did you accomplish your task successfully? What additional questions do you have about learning environment? How will you find answers to your questions?
