Using an Internet search engine (for a list, see the Appendix, or Web Links available on this site), find an "emotional intelligence" inventory (self-test, take it on line, and print out your results. Next, compare your results on this inventory with your results on Score #7 of the On Course Self-Assessment that you took in Chapter 1. Write a paragraph comparing what these two scores tell you about your emotional intelligence, then and now. Discuss why you think these scores do or do not accurately reflect your emotional intelligence.
