First-Year Exam, Given to Juniors
GRE
Practice Exam, Given to Seniors
The
other quantitative information is shown on the second chart. This
shows the results of the GRE practice exam that was administered
to seniors every year beginning in 1992. Again there appears to
be an improvement with the new curriculum, but again there is
enough variation that we cannot be sure that it is real.
Finally we should
point out that there has been no significant change in the performance
of our premedical students on the MCAT through the curriculum change.
The decrease in organic content and organic lab did not seem to
hurt them, either in gaining admission to medical schools or in
their performance once there.
