Chapter 14: Leadership and Influence Processes

  1. Use a search engine to identify web sites that deal with power and politics. What conclusions can you draw from your findings?

  2. Identify a leader whose behavior you would consider transformational. Then use the Internet to find articles and/or other material that either supports or refutes your belief.

  3. Think of three individuals who are both leaders and who have their own personal web sites. Review the sites to see what role, if any, impression management play in how others perceive these individuals.

  4. Describe how the Internet and related forms of information technology might serve as substitutes for leadership.
