- Using your favorite search engine, do and Internet search using simply the word "leadership". How many sites were identified? What conclusions can you draw based on this result?
- Identify a historical figure whom you consider a highly effective leader.
Use the Internet to find two or three sites that specifically address this
individual as a leader.
- Repeat the previous exercise for a contemporary figure.
- Describe how a web site might be created that would allow managers to input
their situation and, using Vroom's tree diagram model, get advice on how much participation to allow their subordinates in making a decision. How
popular do you think such a site would be? How much do you think managers
might be willing to pay to use it?
